West Virginia's Beautiful Mountains
West Virginia is well known for being the only state located entirely within the Appalachian Mountains. People in West Virginia use the mountains for walks, bike riding, picnicking, and just to see the beautiful scenery. After all, if we didn't have mountains, we couldn't ski, snowtube, or snowboard in the winter.
National Parks
like Grandview are located on mountain
tops so you can walk the trails through the mountains. Something interesting
about the West Virginia mountains are that they change every season. If the
mountains were located somewhere where the climate doesn't change, they wouldn't
be as interesting as when they change looks. In the winter, the leaves are gone
but snow covers the bare branches. In the spring, the leaves come back onto
the trees. Next, comes the summer. The trees have all their leaves back on them
and also start producing things. Finally, there is fall, the prettiest to look
at. Almost all the trees are different colors.
West Virginia has very pretty mountains indeed.
